Smallify With WebTV

Computer users and some "Off-WebTV mail systems will quote an email that you have received or newsgroup post when you reply to it, but with WebTV we have to do this manually. With a little practice his is very easy to do.

To smallify text on an email or newsgroup post, you need to force hard breaks at the start of each line of text. To make these hard breaks you need to go put your cursor at the start of a line, then tap the Delete (Backspace) button one time, then tap the Return (Enter) key once. You need to do this at the start of each line of text you want to smallify.

After you make the hard breaks you will go back to the start of each line and add a > on each line.

Some times when adding the > it will force some of the text to the next line, this is normal, just go on to the beginning of the next line of text and add your next >

Here is an example of what it will look like with the hard breaks and > added.

When you send this, or post in a newsgroup, it will look like this.
